Online booking of seats has started in the buses of Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) for various major cities of Bihar like Patna, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur and Purnia from Delhi, Chandigarh and Haryana cities. These new services will be available from September 1, which will give a lot of convenience to the passengers in the festivals and holidays.

Following the permission given by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, BSRTC buses will be operated from Kaushambi in Ghaziabad and Anand Vihar in Delhi from Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT). These buses will take passengers directly to Bihar. Earlier these buses had to pass only through Ghaziabad and Saharanpur routes, but now this direct service has been possible after a mutual agreement between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar government. About 135 routes have been included in this agreement.

These routes include cities like Patna, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Purnia, Katihar and Bettiah in Bihar. Passengers can reserve their seats in advance using online booking facility. This initiative will give passengers comfortable and convenient travel experience, especially those who travel from the capital Delhi and nearby cities to Bihar. This service will also help strengthen inter-state transport and also reduce congestion during festivals.

Booking can be done through BSRTC website and authorized agents. Passengers are advised to read all the necessary information and instructions carefully before the journey.
