On Tuesday, on the occasion of Mahavir Hanuman ji’s life prestige Mahayagya in Dih Tola of Roopdih located in ward number 38 of the municipal area, there was a wonderful confluence of reverence and devotion. The religious ritual began with a grand Kalash Yatra, in which hundreds of female devotees participated in traditional costumes. The Kalash Yatra colored the local environment in a completely spiritual color.
Garima Devi Sikaria, Mayor of Bettiah, as the chief guest, also attended this water journey. Addressing the devotees, he said that in the Sanatan tradition, Mahavir Hanuman is not only a symbol of power and devotion, but he is also considered to be the gods who protect the devotees and liberate the crises. He said that according to mythological beliefs, Hanuman ji has a boon of immortality and he is worshiped as a living deity in Kali Yuga.
While congratulating the organizing committee for this religious event, Mayor Sikaria said that such events awaken spiritual consciousness in the society and strengthen community unity.
Pran Pratishtha Mahayagya Organizing Committee Chairman Rajkishore Sah, Vyas Sah, Anil Kumar, Maqsoodan Prasad, Ramchandra Sah, Gopal Sah, Sudama Prasad and dozens of dignitaries were also present on the occasion. A huge crowd of devotees was seen at the venue, and the whole area resonated with Jai Shri Ram and Jai Bajrangbali’s Jayaghosh.
Pran Pratishtha Mahayagya will be duly concluded with worship and Bhandara. Special care was taken by local administration and volunteers during the journey.
