Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya gave a hearty welcome and felicitation to Honorable Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla ji and Shri Harivansh, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha by presenting them a flower bouquet and dressing them in Angavastra at the closing ceremony of the 86th All India Presiding Officers Conference.
After the welcome ceremony, the Deputy Chief Minister had an in-depth discussion and discussion with the dignitaries on various organizational topics and parliamentary traditions. Important points like sanctity of legislative functions and strengthening of democratic values were also discussed during the conference.
Shri Maurya ji told that the resolution to contribute to a developed India by the year 2047, resolution to have at least 30 days of meetings in the state assemblies, use of technology and AI to improve legislative work, resolution to provide ideal leadership to all the institutions of participatory governance, resolution to build the capacity of public representatives for factual and knowledgeable discussions with digital technology, comparative assessment of the functioning of legislative bodies on objective standards. Six resolutions like comparative assessment have been taken.
