In Lucknow today, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya participated as the chief guest in the meeting of the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the Association of Telecom Department Officers (AIACE) held in the auditorium at Bhootnath. On reaching the programme, the Deputy Chief Minister was given a grand welcome by the Sangh officials.
Addressing the meeting, Shri Maurya said that the officers and employees of the Department of Telecommunications have made an incomparable contribution in bringing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s dream of ‘Digital India’ to life.
He said: In today’s era, communication is power. The hard work and technology of our telecom officers have a big role in connecting the person sitting at the end of the village with the schemes and facilities of the government. During the program, representatives of the officers’ union informed the Deputy Chief Minister about their various demands and departmental challenges. Shri Maurya listened to the officers with utmost seriousness and sensitivity.
He assured that: Protecting the legitimate interests of officers is the priority of the government. Necessary suggestions will be considered to increase the efficiency of the department. Their views will be effectively conveyed to the concerned ministries of the Central Government.
