The war of words is once again at its peak in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. Samajwadi Party’s national president Akhilesh Yadav has made a claim about Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhaspa) Chief and Yogi government minister Om Prakash Rajbhar, which has created a stir in the political circles of UP. Akhilesh Yadav has raised questions on the alliance of SubhaSP and BJP through gestures and has alleged that BJP is playing a big ‘game’ with Rajbhar in the name of 2027 assembly elections.
“Money has been taken in advance, now people are searching”
Kannauj MP Akhilesh Yadav made a scathing attack on the social media platform Akhilesh further made a sensational allegation and said that the money taken in advance by SubhaSP by spreading rumors of getting 30 seats in the name of alliance, is now being sought by those people for those seats. This statement of Akhilesh clearly shows the growing sourness between SP and SubhaSP.
Controversy started over Ram Gopal Yadav’s statement
This incident became deeper when on Wednesday, June 17, Om Prakash Rajbhar, while referring to a letter from senior Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav, had claimed that there could soon be a major split in the SP. After this statement of Rajbhar, Akhilesh Yadav took charge and accused him of taking money in exchange for tickets.
Rajbhar’s counterattack: “If I write the names of the culprits of Gomti River Front, there will be an earthquake.”
After Akhilesh Yadav’s post, OP Rajbhar also did not delay and replied in strong words. Rajbhar hit back on social media and wrote, “Hey Akhilesh Yadav, now I have only mentioned Ram Gopal Yadav’s letter. If I make public the names of the culprits of the mining scam and Gomti River Front, there will be an earthquake in Uttar Pradesh.” Rajbhar further taunted and said that the whole of UP knows who are the masterminds of ‘red cap’ corruption and whom Ram Gopal Yadav is bargaining to save.
The conflict intensifies before the 2027 elections
This latest dispute between Akhilesh and Rajbhar is a premonition of the chessboard being laid for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. While on one hand Akhilesh Yadav is accusing BJP of cheating its allies by just giving ‘assurances’, on the other hand Rajbhar has tried to put the opposition on the back foot by raising the old scams of SP. Now the public is watching whether this war of words will be limited to mere rhetoric or will it lead to bigger changes in the politics of the alliance in the coming days.
