Deputy Chief Minister held a review meeting with administrative officers of various departments at Samrat Udayan Auditorium.

Shri Maurya instructed the officials to visit the area regularly to assess the ground reality of the schemes and ensure prompt resolution of the problems. The Deputy Chief Minister conducted a detailed review of the progress of development works and public welfare schemes being conducted in the district. He directed the officials that the public welfare schemes of the Central and State Government should be implemented with complete transparency and it should be ensured that the benefits of the schemes reach the eligible beneficiaries in a timely and effective manner.

Told the departmental officers that 100 percent of the budget allocated for the schemes should be consumed as per rules. The role of public and officials is important to make Uttar Pradesh a 1 trillion economic state.

The main objective of “Double Engine Government” is to improve the standard of living of the general public, hence negligence or irregularity will not be tolerated at any level.

On this occasion, public representatives, District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police, Chief Development Officer and senior officers of the concerned departments and party officials were present.
