According to the latest weather report of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky will be partly cloudy in Delhi on Tuesday morning and afternoon. During this period, there is a strong possibility of very light to light rain, strong storm and lightning along with thunder and lightning. The Meteorological Department has warned that during the storm, the normal speed of winds can be 40 to 50 kilometers per hour, which in some areas can increase to storm gusts of 60 kilometers per hour (60 KMPH). The mercury at Ayanagar and Lodhi Road remained at 38°C and 37.8°C respectively, while the hottest part of Delhi was Ridge Observatory where the temperature was recorded at 38.8°C.

However, the intensity of rain may gradually reduce from Wednesday onwards. Due to this moisture present in the air, the temperature will remain controlled throughout this week and people will get relief from the heat wave, but due to dry winds blowing at the weekend, the effect of heat may increase once again.
