It was the result of his growing stature that when Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi were in the United Bihar, Dadai Dubey got important responsibility as a cabinet minister, where he served in posts like Santhal Pargana Development Minister and Panchayati Raj Minister. Even after his tenure in the assembly, he got the title of MLA and he lost one time from the Lok Sabha, but he got a one -time election from the Lok Sabha, but he got the election of 2004, but he got a wealth from the 2004 seat.
