The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a very important update for lakhs of students across the country appearing in the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET UG 2026) examination. NTA has officially released the Revised Admit Card for all those candidates whose examination was recently postponed due to unavoidable reasons.

Why was the exam postponed and what is the new schedule?
Earlier, NTA had suddenly postponed the CUET UG examination to be held in both shifts on 28 May 2026 by issuing an official notice on 24 May 2026. The board, while clarifying the reason behind this, had said that due to the change in the date of the festival of Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid), the decision to postpone this examination was taken keeping in mind the convenience of the students.
Now as per the revised schedule of NTA, this postponed examination will be conducted in two different phases:

Phase 1 (31 May 2026): First part of postponed examination of 28th May upcoming 31 May 2026 It will be held on 12th, the admit cards of which have been made live today.

Second phase (6 or 7 June 2026): According to NTA, the admit cards of the students whose exam has been scheduled on June 6 or June 7, 2026 will also be uploaded on the portal soon.
Record breaking level of registration and examination this year
The examinations of CUET UG 2026 started at the beginning of this month i.e. from 11th May 2026 in the examination centers of various states and foreign cities across the country, which will continue till the first week of June.

This time NTA had given the students the freedom to choose maximum five subjects, due to which more than 67.5 lakh test sessions are being conducted for a total of 12,906 different subject combinations.
Step-by-Step Process to Download New Admit Card
NTA has kept the process of downloading the admit card very simple. Students can get their new hall ticket by following the steps given below:
1.Visit the official website:step 1.
First of all official website of NTA CUET cuet.nta.nic.in Open in your browser.
2.Click on Admit Card Link:Step 2.
Scroll down on the homepage and activate link “CUET UG 2026 Rescheduled Exam Admit Card” Click on.
3.Enter login credentials:Step 3.
Now a new login window will open in front of you. here’s my Application Number And enter the password or date of birth carefully.
4.Download and Print Admit Card:Step 4.
After entering the security PIN, click on the submit button. Your revised admit card will appear on the screen. Download it and take a clear copy of it to the examination center. Printout (Color or B/W) Definitely take it out.
Important Instructions: Students should carefully check the address of the examination centre, reporting time and gate closing time mentioned on the new admit card. Entry into the examination center will not be allowed at all on the basis of old admit card.
