Sam Konsta vs Virat Kohli: 19 year old Australian player Sam Konsta proved to be important for the team in the first Test of his career. He won everyone’s hearts by scoring a quick century in the first innings itself. Then during the Melbourne Test, he was in the news for some reason or the other for all five days. However, his actions did not go down well with Indian fans. On the fifth day of the match, Kontas did something which made the fans of Team India very angry.

Made fun of Kohli by mimicking him

Australia has taken a 2-1 lead by winning the fourth Test match of the series played in Melbourne on the fifth day itself. Kontas was fielding on the boundary on the last day of the match. Meanwhile, he was continuously encouraging the audience and asking them to applaud. Constas also imitated Virat Kohli during this period. On the first day of the match, Virat had hit the ball on his shoulder. While fielding, Constas shrugged her shoulders and danced in style. Due to which Indian fans got angry.

Struggle with Bumrah and Yashasvi Jaiswal too

Kontas was given the chance to make his debut in this match as a replacement for Nathan McSweeney. He scored 60 runs in the first innings and 8 runs in the second innings. During the match, he clashed not only with Virat Kohli but also with Jasprit Bumrah and Yashasvi Jaiswal. In the second innings, Bumrah dismissed him and signaled him to the pavilion. Then when Yashasvi was batting in the second innings, Constas was standing near him. He was continuously saying something or the other. On this, Yashasvi also advised him to do his own work.

Australia had given a target of 340 runs to Team India. In reply, India was all out for 155 runs in 79.1 overs in the second innings. Kangaroo team scored 474 runs in the first innings. Then Team India had scored 369 runs in the first innings while Australia had a lead of 105 runs. Pat Cummins’s team scored 234 runs in the second innings and gave India a target of 340 runs.
