Dehradun, May 29 (HS). Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has greeted all media representatives on Hindi Journalism Day. He said that as the fourth pillar of democracy, journalism has played an important role in solving the problems of the common people along with the social, economic, political and cultural aspects of the country.
In a message issued, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Hindi newspapers and magazines have played an important role in taking the country and society forward through the rich tradition of journalism along with creating public awareness in the society. He said that Uttarakhand also has a golden history of Hindi journalism.
Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari has also congratulated all the media representatives on Hindi Journalism Day.
