News India Live, Digital Desk: The smell of gunpowder in the skies of West Asia has now become more deadly. Iran has given another wound to America near the world’s most strategically important waterway ‘Strait of Hormuz’. On Friday, the Iranian Army launched what the US Air Force called ‘Tank Killer’. A-10 Thunderbolt (Thunderbolt II) Shot down the plane. This is the second major occasion within a week when Iran has directly challenged American military power. Before this, Iran F-15 fighter jet has also been reduced to debris.

Plane fell in Kuwait border, pilot saved his life by jumping

US defense officials confirmed the attack and said that the plane was attacked near the Strait of Hormuz. After the attack, the pilot wisely diverted the plane towards Kuwaiti airspace and was successful in ejecting safely there. The plane crashed within the borders of Kuwait, while the pilot was rescued safely. The Iranian army has taken full responsibility for this attack through ‘Al Jazeera’, which belies President Trump’s claims in which he had talked about the complete destruction of Iran.

Rescue operation also attacked: Blackhawk helicopters targeted

Iran’s aggression did not stop here. While the US military was conducting a search operation for its missing crew members, Iran engaged in rescue operations. UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopters were also targeted. Some American soldiers have suffered minor injuries in this attack, although officially everyone has been declared safe. It is noteworthy that out of the two crew members of the F-15 jet that fell recently, only one has been rescued so far, while the search for the other is going on.

Donald Trump’s big statement: “This is not diplomacy, this is straight war”

President Donald Trump has taken a tough stance in an interview given to the international media amidst the continuously falling debris of planes. When asked if there was any scope for negotiations with Iran after these incidents, Trump said bluntly, “No, not at all. This is war. We are at war and now the answer will be given in the same language.” This statement of Trump has made it clear that America is now preparing for a major military counterattack.

Tension increases for India: Danger looms on supply of LPG and oil

This fierce conflict going on near the Strait of Hormuz has given India sleepless nights. About 20% of the world’s crude oil passes through this narrow path. India is completely dependent on this route for its LPG and petroleum needs. The possibility of closure of this route due to war or attacks on ships has created uncertainty in the global energy market. If this tension does not subside, India may see a huge jump in fuel prices.
