Second major lapse in President Trump’s security within a month

The biggest concern for security analysts is that within just a month, this is the second major case of lapse and attack on President Donald Trump’s security. Earlier, a similar incident of firing had taken place during a dinner event with journalists at the Hilton Hotel in Washington, where the accused was caught on the spot. This time too the attacker is in the custody of the Secret Service and security agencies.

Sudden firing at security post; FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed

The entire incident took place at a main security checkpoint located near 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue near the White House complex. Federal Investigation Agency (FBI) Director Kash Patel himself has officially confirmed this attack. He said that Secret Service agents are taking prompt and strict action in this entire matter.

According to security officials, a suspicious person suddenly moved towards the security post and started firing indiscriminately from his weapon. The security personnel immediately retaliated, in which the attacker was shot and he collapsed there, after which he was taken into custody and taken to the hospital.

Panic broke out in the White House; The journalist ran away by crawling on her knees

Due to the echo of bullets so close to the White House, there was a huge stampede among the journalists and media persons present there for coverage. To save their lives, many journalists immediately went and hid inside the press briefing room of the White House. Renowned ABC News journalist Selina Wang was present there at that time and was recording the video. She told that as soon as she heard the sound of firing, she crawled on her knees and ran towards a safe place out of fear. Immediately after the incident, the entire White House complex and surrounding roads have been sealed and the general public has been given strict instructions to stay away from this area.

Where was President Donald Trump at the time of the attack?

At the time when bullets were being fired outside the White House, President Donald Trump was present in the most secure part of the White House i.e. ‘Oval Office’. According to the information, at that time Trump was holding a highly confidential and important diplomatic discussion over the phone with the heads of state of Israel, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia to finalize the historic peace agreement with Iran.

As soon as the information about the attack was received, heavily armed commandos of the Secret Service took the entire Oval Office and the White House under their security cover. Along with this, National Guard personnel have also been immediately deployed in Washington and at present there has been a complete ban on any kind of movement in or out of the White House. FBI and Secret Service teams are investigating this conspiracy in depth.
