Chandrashekhar Azad’s roar in Lucknow, noise about reservation in backward class conference, warning to the government

News India Live, Digital Desk: In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Nagina MP and Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) chief Chandrashekhar Azad has made his political power felt through the Backward Classes Conference. In this conference organized targeting the assembly elections of 2027, Chandrashekhar made a scathing attack on the government regarding OBC reservation and share. He bluntly said that now the backward class has awakened and is ready to fight for its rights from the streets to the House.

Chandrashekhar angry over reservation’s dominance

Addressing the conference, Chandrashekhar Azad alleged that backward classes are being discriminated against in government jobs and institutions. He said that the reservation of OBC community is limited only on paper and they are taking over the land. The MP demanded that work should be done on the principle that whoever has bigger numbers, should have the same share. He once again reiterated the demand for caste census and called it essential for the upliftment of backward people.

Strategy from Lok Sabha to Assembly

After the success in the Lok Sabha elections, Chandrashekhar’s next stop is the UP Assembly elections 2027. This conference in Lucknow is being considered a part of the same bigger plan. Addressing the workers, Chandrashekhar said that when the backward and Dalit classes come together, the path to power in Delhi and Lucknow will automatically become clear. He appealed to the people of backward classes to unite to protect their rights and not to be misled by anyone.

Alliance or alone for 2027?

During the conference, there was also discussion in the political circles whether Chandrashekhar will be a part of any big alliance in 2027 or will contest the elections alone. Although he did not say anything directly on this, his attitude indicates that he is trying to establish himself as a ‘third option’ in the state. He said that his aim is not to get power, but to give its rights to the exploited society.

Challenge may increase for the government

Chandrashekhar Azad’s activism has intensified the stir in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. Especially after Western UP, his efforts to woo the backward classes in the areas of Awadh can present a new challenge to the ruling party and the main opposition parties.
