
A concert of the famous British music band Coldplay was organized in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat. The concert was held on 25 and 26 January at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and was attended by lakhs of people. Famous faces including cricket star Jasprit Bumrah, Home Minister Harsh Shanghvi were also seen in this concert. Then the video of a concert held on January 26 has gone viral. In which Chris Martin praised fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah tremendously.
Jasprit Bumrah at Cold Play concert
In the crowd of around one lakh spectators, the music band was also crazy about a special person and that was Team India’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Chris Martin also sang a special song about Jasprit Bumrah’s appearance in Cold Play. The special thing is that Bumrah, who is currently out of the Indian team due to a back injury, was seen having a lot of fun in the concert. When Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin addressed Bumrah from the stage, the entire stadium echoed and everyone present there took Bumrah’s name.
Jaspreet praised in live concert
The British band paid an incredible tribute to the Indian fast bowler by singing two lines dedicated to him.. We didn’t even enjoy watching Jasprit whitewash England in the right match because dare we say it the laughter returned. Chris Martin addressed the stage and said, “Hey Jasprit Bumrah, my beautiful brother. Best bowler of cricket. We did not even enjoy seeing you taking wickets on the England wicket.” England were blowing the stumps of the batsmen. After this video was played, slogans of Bumrah-Bumrah started being raised. Meanwhile, Indian star fast bowler also could not stop himself from laughing.
Honor to Jasprit Bumrah
Coldplay also displayed his signed Test jersey on stage in honor of Bumrah at his home ground in Ahmedabad. This was not the first time that Coldplay had mentioned Bumrah at their concert in India. Earlier during the Mumbai show, the band played a video of Bumrah running into the England batting line-up in the 2024 Test series. On the same show, Chris Martin joked that the band had received a legal notice from Bumrah’s lawyers for using his name during the concert. Martin read the imaginary letter out loud.
“I am very sorry, but I have to read the letter from Jasprit Bumrah’s lawyer. I have to do this, otherwise, we will be sent to jail and we will not be able to protest in Ahmedabad. Sunday’s show was live-streamed on TV on Hotstar. Indian cricket fans were stunned to see Bumrah live.
