In Ludhiana, a 13 year old minor girl was raped by her own father. The victim’s mother lodged a complaint with the police, after which the accused father was arrested.

The victim’s mother told that her daughter was having stomach pain for the last few days, due to which she was asked to get a checkup done. Investigation revealed that she was pregnant. On being interrogated, the victim told her mother that about 4 months ago her father had taken her to his factory, where he raped her.

Confirmation after inspection

According to the victim’s mother, her daughter was raped by her father, who left her four months pregnant. Police have registered a case against the accused under rape and POCSO Act. Police say that the case is being investigated seriously and the accused will be given the harshest punishment.
