Chief Minister and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) President Hemant Soren has made serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party and said that BJP Special Intensive Revision (SIR) That is, it is using the special summary revision program of the voter list as a ‘devious weapon’. In a training camp organized at his residence in Ranchi, Soren warned the workers that this move of the opposition will have to be answered with full promptness among the public.
Allegation of playing under the guise of SIR
Chief Minister Hemant Soren, while addressing JMM officials from 12 districts, said that BJP is trying to manipulate the voter list to create an atmosphere in its favor. He appealed to the workers to go to every village and booth to ensure that the name of any eligible citizen is not deleted from the voter list. “This is not just a government process, but a war to protect your democratic rights,” Soren said.

CM Soren gave special measures and guidelines to the workers to foil the alleged strategy of BJP:
Help in adding name: The first priority should be to get the name of every eligible citizen, especially the youth and people from deprived sections, included in the voter list.
Correct errors immediately: Identify deliberate mistakes in name, address or other information in the voter list and fill the form to get them corrected immediately.
Booth level monitoring: Be active at the booth level and prevent any ‘fake’ name from being added to the list and do not allow the name of any legitimate voter to be omitted.
Emphasis on election preparations and organization
The upcoming census and future election challenges were also discussed during the meeting. Hemant Soren clarified that the structure of the organization should be so strong from booth to district level that any propaganda of the opposition can be immediately responded to. Prominent leaders from many districts including Ranchi, Dhanbad, Bokaro and Palamu participated in this meeting conducted by party general secretary Vinod Kumar Pandey.
Focus also on government appointments and women empowerment
Amidst the political blockade, Hemant Soren government is also busy capitalizing on its achievements. Recently the Chief Minister has distributed appointment letters to 314 women supervisors and 61 CDPOs. He called it a big step towards women empowerment and good governance at the grassroots level. Political pundits believe that Soren is breaking the siege of BJP through administrative activism on one hand and organizational strength on the other.
