News India Live, Digital Desk: An important update has come out for the students who are dreaming of government job in Uttar Pradesh and especially those who are preparing for Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO). Often there is a fear in the minds of the candidates that the dates of two big examinations may clash with each other. To resolve this confusion, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has taken a big decision.

Why did the date have to be changed?
Actually, the main examination (Mains) of RO-ARO was going to be held on the same days when a big recruitment examination of Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) was also scheduled. In such a situation, a crisis had arisen in front of thousands of students who were working hard day and night for both these examinations. Understanding this problem of the students, the Commission showed sensitivity and decided to change the schedule of the Mains examination.

What will be its effect?
This change in dates has brought a sigh of relief to those candidates who were stressed about two different examinations at the same time. Now students will be able to concentrate fully on both their examinations without any mental pressure. Apart from this, sometimes getting a little more time between exams is no less than a gift for students’ revision.

Some important tips for the candidates

  • Check official schedule: Although the information about the change has been revealed, but to avoid any confusion, students are advised to visit the official website of UP Public Service Commission (UPPSC) and check the notification of revised dates once.
  • Improve your strategy: Make good use of this extra time. Now there is a chance to work a little more on the subjects which still seemed weak.
  • Stay updated: Stay in touch with the Commission for admit cards and other information related to examination centres.
