1. What is the whole matter?

Actually, JPSC had released the advertisement for the 14th Civil Services Examination, in which a cut-off date was fixed for calculating the age.

2. High Court order and instructions to JPSC

Considering the seriousness of the matter, Justice Jharkhand High Court has given the following instructions:

Application Permission: The Commission has been instructed to accept the application forms of these 22 candidates.

under conditions: However, this permission is interim at present and the candidature of these candidates will be subject to the final decision of the case.

Changes in Portal: JPSC will have to make necessary technical changes in its online portal so that these candidates can fill the form taking advantage of their age relaxation.

3. Brief description of JPSC 14th Civil Services Exam

Recruitment to various administrative posts will be done through this prestigious examination of Jharkhand:

Total Posts: This time there are indications of recruitment on record posts, which include Deputy Collector, DSP and other posts.

Selection Process: The examination will be conducted in three stages—Preliminary (PT), Mains and Interview.

4. What will be the impact on other candidates?
