Final Answer Key: Final key prepared after reviewing the objections received from the candidates on the provisional answer key. On this basis marks are calculated.

Subject-wise Cut-Off: Separate cut-off lists will be released for Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Earth Sciences.

Percentile Based Scorecard: Candidates will be given percentile score instead of their raw marks, so that parity is maintained between different shifts.

Once the result link is activated, you can follow these steps:

What after qualifying?

Two main career paths open up for candidates who pass the exam:

JRF (Junior Research Fellowship): Candidates appearing in JRF merit list can pursue PhD in reputed institutes of India (like CSIR Labs, IITs) and will be provided monthly fellowship.

Lectureship (Assistant Professor): Candidates who qualify NET will be eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor in universities and degree colleges across the country.

Availability of e-certificate

By UGC within about 1-2 months of declaration of result for successful candidates. e-certificate Are issued. Candidates will be able to download these using their log-in ID.
