Another mega scam in Jharkhand? Babulal Marandi opened the front, said – there is loot in the mineral fund

Babulal Marandi has described this scam as spread across the state and said that this loot is being done in an organized manner, in which ruling party leaders, officials and middlemen are involved.

DFMT i.e. District Mineral Foundation Trust, is a fund created for the development of mining affected districts. As per rules, mining companies deposit a part of their earnings in this fund. Babulal Marandi alleges that there is massive looting in this fund meant for the development of the poor and tribals.

What allegations did Marandi make?

2. There is a game going on in the tender: Marandi claimed that there is rampant corruption taking place even in the tenders of schemes. The cost of the work is being inflated. For example, money is being looted by showing the work worth Rs 10 lakh as Rs 50 lakh.
3. The network is spread across the state: This scam is not limited to any one district, rather this game is going on in almost all the mining affected districts of Jharkhand.

Demand for high level investigation

Babulal Marandi has demanded a high level investigation into this matter by an independent agency. He says that if this scam is investigated impartially, many big faces will be exposed. He also said that BJP will not let this issue sit quietly and will raise it from the streets to the House.
