Affected areas: Land acquisition of a total of 62 villages including villages like Mangraula, Paindapur, Luhari Khadar, Soharka of Hasanpur tehsil as well as Attari, Muridpur, Baldana and Vastaura Mafi of Dhanaura tehsil is to be done for this project.

Administrative Preparation: More than 1,000 farmers will be directly affected by this entire process. Recently the district administration has appointed Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDAFollowing the instructions of UPEDA, the work of digitally scanning the settlement maps of all these affected villages has been completed 100% and made available to UPEDA.

This expressway is being considered a great medium of economic prosperity for local residents, traders and farmers. Since the announcement of the project, there has been a huge surge in the demand for land and circle rates in the area.
In the future, there is a strong possibility of opening big industries, logistics parks, warehouses, big hotels, restaurants and commercial establishments like petrol pumps on both sides of this 116 km long route. Haridwar is a global tourist destination, hence due to fast connectivity directly to Amroha, this entire area will become a new hub of business activities, which will create thousands of new employment opportunities for the local youth.
What is the current situation? Waiting for government guidelines
District Land Acquisition Officer regarding the current tortoise pace of the project Pushkarnath Chaudhary Has clarified the situation. He told that the ‘map scanning’ and initial paper formalities have been completed by the district administration and sent to the government. At present, new guidelines or final detailed instructions are yet to be received from the government level regarding fixing the rates of land acquisition and distribution of compensation. As soon as the green signal and budget guidelines are received from Lucknow Headquarters (Government), the district administration will immediately hold talks with the farmers and start further statutory action for land acquisition and civil construction of the expressway.
