Shri Maurya said that with promotion the responsibilities of officers also increase. Using their experience and efficiency, they should pay special attention to quick resolution of public problems, effective implementation of government schemes and providing better facilities to the rural people. He expressed confidence that the promoted officers will discharge the new responsibilities with transparency, sensitivity and accountability.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that to fulfill the resolve of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for a developed India, the state government is working for the overall development of rural areas. Officers and employees of the Rural Development Department play an important role in implementing this goal. Boosting their morale and giving proper recognition to their services is necessary to strengthen the departmental work culture.
