The Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow alert in some parts of West Champaran. Today, with light rain, strong winds and lightning are expected to fall at a speed of 30–40 km/h. According to the Meteorological Center, Patna, a Dronika (trough line) currently extends from the central part of Bihar to Jharkhand and Northern Coastal Odisha.
