The schedule of this exam conducted by the Bar Council of India – BCI is as follows:

Who can apply?

AIBE is an open-book exam, in which candidates are allowed to carry books, Acts and BARECTS with themselves without notes.

  • Nature: Objective type examination, in which multiple choice questions – MCQ are asked.
  • Total questions: 100 questions.
  • Total marks: 100 points.
  • Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes.
  • Language: The exam will be available in many languages, in which candidates can choose the language of their choice.

Only after passing this exam, candidates get the ‘Certificate of Practice’ (Certificate of Practice ‘, without which they cannot practice law in India.
