Agitation Against Police for Prevenging Child Sexual Abuse is Unfortunate, Public Should Raise Voice Against White Collar Criminals

News India Live, Digital Desk: Bihar DGP’s Strong Statement: Bihar Director General of Police (DGP) Vinay Kumar has raised serious questions on the agitations against the police in the state by ‘white -collar’ powerful/influential persons in child sexual harassment child sexual abuse and attempts to stop it. The DGP said that some people are taking advantage of their reach and committing disgusting and heinous crimes like child sexual harassment. Against such criminals, the whole society should come forward unitedly and launch a strong movement. However, he expressed surprise that instead of doing so, the public is agitating against the police trying to stop these crimes. DGP Vinay Kumar was addressing a state level workshop on ‘World Day against Human trafficking’ at the Bihar Police Headquarters Auditorium at Sardar Patel Bhavan on Wednesday.

DGP Vinay Kumar also gave an example of recent incidents in Arah and Nawada districts in favor of his statement. These examples mean that when the police take action against the criminals, some classes start protests many times, causing a shock to the efforts of the police. The DGP questioned who the real criminals are and the public needs to stand against.

Human trafficking: second largest organized crime
The DGP also expressed concern over this serious issue in this workshop on ‘Human Trafficking’ and ‘Transgender Issues’. He said that human trade is the second largest and rapidly growing organized crime in the world after ‘Narcotics’ (drug trafficking), in which criminals are illegally acquired by criminals. The DGP emphasized a large scale on a large scale on this subject and emphasized the need for concrete action. Realizing the pain of human trafficking children, he said that “an incident like murder in a family is forgotten after some time, but the pain of a child is missing or smuggling the whole family for life.”

Instructions to policemen: “This is our basic job!”
In his address, the DGP gave strict instructions to the policemen not to consider incidents like ‘human trafficking’ and child sexual harassment as ‘additional work’. He emphasized that these are issues that the police should see as part of their “original work” and complete it with full sensitivity and readiness. The DGP further said that all stakeholders need to fight unitedly on this serious issue, so that the criminals can be taught a lesson and the victims can get justice. On this occasion, dignitaries associated with several organizations including ADG Parasnath of CID, ADG weaker section Amit Kumar Jain were present.
