Doon University, one of the prestigious educational institutions of Uttarakhand, has announced admissions to Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG) and other diploma programs for the academic session 2026-27. Students who want to take admission in Doon University can register themselves through online mode from Monday.

Last date of application: 31 May 2026

Entrance Exam: 18 and 19 June 2026 (probable)

MBA Group Discussion and Interview: 21 June to 28 June 2026

Result of Entrance Exam: 30 June 2026

Date of release of merit list: 10 July 2026

Counseling and Fee Deposit: 20 July to 31 July 2026

Classes Start (Academic Session Start): 3 August 2026

Applications will be accepted completely in online mode.

Registration Fee:

General Category: 800 rupees

SC/ST Category: 400 rupees

Special Rules: One candidate maximum three different programs Can apply for, but separate application fee will have to be paid for each course.

Selection Process and Required Instructions

Entrance Exam: Admission to most of the courses will be on the basis of computer based entrance examination conducted by the University. It is mandatory to appear for the examination for all categories.

Admission based on merit: If the applications in any course are less than the number of seats, then the university can give direct admission on the basis of merit marks without examination.

Document Verification: It is mandatory to show all the original documents at the time of counselling. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of admission.

PhD Programme: The dates and procedure for admission to Ph.D. will be notified separately on the University website.
