So you have brought for you the best recipe of Sweet Corn Dhokla, which is full of taste as well as healthy. This traditional Gujarati breakfast, with a twist of corn, will give freshness to your morning routine. So let’s know how to make this crispy and forged dhokla! Ingredients: To make this wonderful dhokla, you need about a cup of sweet corn grains (which you can boil), about half a cup of semolina (rava), two teaspoons of gram flour, and about 1/4 cup fresh curd. To enhance its taste, we will need finely chopped ginger, green chillies (according to your choice), turmeric powder (about 1/4 teaspoon), a pinch of asafoetida, and half a teaspoon of fruit salt or eo. Finally, for the tempering oil, mustard, curry leaves, and a little water or finely chopped coriander leaves. First, grind the sweet corn, curd, ginger, and green chili together in a mixer jar. Make it coarsely paste, remember not to be very fine. Take out this mixture in a large bowl. Now add semolina and gram flour and mix well so that there is no lump. If needed, add some water and make a batter of its thick, flying consistency. Now add turmeric and asafoetida to this batter and mix well. After this, cover it for 15 to 20 minutes and keep it aside, so that the semolina swells and all the ingredients get mixed well. When it comes time to make dhokla, add fruit salt (eg eno) and add a spoonful of water and beat the mixture lightly in one direction. You will immediately see bubbles in it, which will make the dhokla forged. Now heat a steamer. Grease a tray or dhokla plate with light oil and put the prepared batter in it. Steam it on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes in the steamer. Put a knife and check, if it comes out clean, the dhokla is cooked. Allow it to cool and then cut it into square pieces. Heat oil in a small pan to apply tempering in the last. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves to it. When the mustard seeds start to crackle, spread the tempering on the pieces of dhokla equally. If you want, you can also sprinkle finely chopped coriander from above. Just your delicious and healthy sweet corn dhokla is ready! Serve hot with your favorite chutney or tea and enjoy it without compromising with your fitness rounds.
