A major step towards transparency: Ram Temple’s entire income, expenditure and donation details will now be made public on the website.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has taken a very important and far-sighted decision regarding the construction and management system of Ram temple in Ayodhya. After some controversies and allegations related to offerings and donations in recent times, the Trust has decided to bring complete transparency in its functioning. Under this, now the complete account of donations received by the temple, bank interest, money coming in foreign currency (FCRA) accounts and valuable items dedicated to Ramlala will be displayed on the official website. This initiative will not only put an end to all baseless allegations in future, but will also make the details of every month’s income and capital expenditure completely accessible to the devotees of the country and abroad.

Monthly accounts will be visible on the website

Till now, a comparative study of income and expenditure was presented every fourth month in the meetings of the Trust and the account of valuable items was shared mainly orally. But now the Trust has decided that written and clear information about donation boxes, donation counters, interest received from banks and valuable gifts will be made available directly in the public domain. According to sources, this step has been taken with the aim of removing the communication gap after the recent incidents and maintaining the dignity and credibility of the organization so that there is no doubt of any kind between the donors and the general public.

Application Process and Qualifications for CEO Post

Along with this administrative reshuffle of transparency, the Trust has also expedited the process of selection of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Applications have been invited from eligible candidates through e-mail till 4 pm on 18th July. The minimum age for this three-year post has been fixed at 50 years and maximum 70 years, and it is mandatory for the applicant to be a Hindu, Vaishnav and a devotee of Lord Shri Ram. Also, experienced and retired experts having at least 20 years of managerial experience in general administration, finance, law and IT in a large institution or temple management are applying for this important role.
