Broccoli is an expensive but highly beneficial vegetable, which many people do not like to eat due to their taste. Especially children shy away from seeing it. Material:
- Cabbage: 1 cup
- Broccoli: 1/2 cup
- Peas: 1/2 cup
- Salt: as per taste
For gravy:
- Oil: 2 teaspoons
- Finely chopped onion: 1
- Finely chopped ginger: 1 piece
- Red chili powder: as per taste
- Chopped tomatoes: 3
- Garam Masala: 1 teaspoon
- Cumin Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Kasuri Methi: 1 teaspoon
- Coconut Milk: 3/4 Cup
- Cashew powder: 1/4 cup
- Salt: 3/4 teaspoon
- Chinese: 1/4 teaspoon
Method:
- Boil water in a large pot.
- When the water boils, add one teaspoon of salt to it and cook the cabbage for three to four minutes. Remove the cabbage and keep it aside.
- Now add broccoli to the same water and cook for five to six minutes.
- To make gravy, heat oil in a pan and add onion and fry it till it becomes golden.
- Then add ginger, garlic and chili and cook for two more minutes.
- Add all the spices and mix well. Now add tomatoes, salt, sugar and kasuri fenugreek and cover and cook on medium flame for eight to ten minutes. Turn off the gas.
- When the spices mixture cools down, add cashew powder and coconut milk to it and make a paste in a grinder.
- Now add prepared paste of gravy, cabbage, broccoli, peas and spices in a pan. Cook on medium flame for 10 to 15 minutes. If needed, make the gravy further thin.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
