RPF arrested CSC operator with 26 rail e-tickets

Saharsa, February 16 (HS). Based on secret information, RPF has arrested a CSC operator who was identified as 29-year-old Mohammad Arif Alam, who was making railway e-tickets from personal user ID. During the raid, RPF has recovered 26 railway e-tickets of long distance trains from the accused, which includes 10 advance railway e-tickets and 16 earlier railway e-tickets. All are AC and sleeper class tickets. These also include some Tatkal tickets.

All rail e-tickets were created with personal user ID. All the railway e-tickets are worth around Rs 30 thousand. RPF has also seized laptop and mobile from the house of the accused during the raid, which is being examined by experts. RPF registered a case against the accused and sent it to Khagaria Railway Court on Friday.

Mohammad Arif Alam's father Mohammad Jamal is a resident of Matkuria village of Triveniganj police station of Supaul district. Also, Arif Alam has taken agent ID through CSC, which used to make railway e-tickets sitting at home. Under the guise of this, Arif used to make fake railway e-tickets by creating four personal user IDs and sold them to passengers at expensive prices. On Thursday, Saharsa RPF received information from Delhi through strong data that Mohammad Arif fraudulently creates reserved category railway e-tickets from personal user ID.

As soon as the information was received, a team led by RPF Inspector Vandana Kumari and Sub Inspector Sujit Kumar Mishra reached Triveniganj and raided the house of Mohammad Arif. During this period, 26 railway e-tickets made from personal user ID were recovered. After this the accused was arrested and brought to Saharsa RPF post. The raid was conducted with the help of Triveniganj local police station.
