So their challan can be issued. If caught driving a two-wheeler without a helmet, a challan of up to Rs 1000 can be issued. The government has implemented this rule because
Because wearing a helmet poses less threat to the life of a person riding a two-wheeler in case of an accident. Therefore, everyone should ride a two-wheeler only by wearing a helmet.
But, this alone is not enough. Just wearing a helmet is not enough. It is also important to wear a helmet properly and wear the right helmet. Otherwise, a fine of up to Rs 2,000 can be imposed even for wearing a helmet.

This challan will be deducted under 194D MVA. At the same time, if the driver is wearing a helmet which is not BIS registered or is defective, then a challan of Rs 1000 can also be issued.
