Faridabad, August 3 (HS). In the case of robbery of cash and jewellery from a house in Green Field Colony by a maid along with her accomplices, the police has recovered the stolen goods from the arrested accused. The police has also arrested the accused who had provided the country-made pistol to the gang leader.
The police spokesperson said on Saturday that on the night of July 28, a Nepali woman maid called her other accomplices to a house in Greenfield Colony and carried out a robbery at gunpoint. The accused woman Padma alias Aarti alias Karishma, main accused Shankar Bhul and other accused Deepak Singh, Pallabh Raj and Bal Bahadur Sarki were arrested by the Crime Branch NIT and taken on police remand. The looted jewellery has been recovered during the remand. Also, while taking action, the Crime Branch NIT team arrested accused Sher Bahadur, who had provided the country-made pistol to the gang leader Shankar Bhul, from Badarpur border area. Accused Sher Bahadur is also a resident of Kailali district of Nepal.
During police remand of the accused, along with the country made pistol used in the crime, 4 gold bangles, a necklace, two pairs of ear tops, a two stringed gold chain, two diamond pendants, a diamond bracelet, a gold bracelet, a diamond ring, a gold bracelet, a two tola gold chain, diamond ear tops, 4 gold ear tops, two pairs of small children's ear tops, a temple thali and two bowls, a 10 gram silver coin, a 50 gram silver coin and three ladies small golden coloured earrings, two golden coloured spoons, an artificial pearl necklace, two artificial bangles, an artificial ring for ladies and Rs. 27000 cash were recovered from a rented house in Anand Vihar, Delhi. Accused Sher Bahadur, who provided the country made pistol, told that he had brought the country made pistol from Nepal. After interrogation, all the accused were produced in the court and sent to jail.
