Causes of morning anxiety and sadness

1. Cortisol, also known as the stress hormone, is at its highest in the morning. This is more common in people who regularly experience anxiety.

2. Morning anxiety and sadness can also be caused by anxiety disorders. People with anxiety suffer from constant worry and fear in the morning. They experience constant fatigue, trouble concentrating, and restlessness.

3. Poor sleep quality can also cause morning sickness and anxiety. Anxiety levels are highest in the morning when there is not enough sleep.

4. Whatever we eat and drink also affects the body. If you consume too much sugar or caffeine, it can increase anxiety levels.

A remedy for morning anxiety

If you feel sad, anxious or nervous every morning, then pay attention to your lifestyle and diet. Eat light and easily digestible food at night. Avoid caffeine and alcohol, exercise daily. Also do meditation in the morning, this will help in calming the mind.
