Firozabad, July 08 (HS). Police team of Thana Uttar has arrested four members of Sukha Gang on Monday. Jewellery, cash and other things have been recovered from them. During this time, police has disclosed many theft incidents. Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Sarvesh Kumar Mishra said that Thana Incharge Vaibhav Kumar was on patrol in the area on Monday with the police team. Information was received that four members of Sukha Gang are present in the area with the intention of planning to execute a big crime. Police surrounded and arrested four members of the gang. During interrogation, the accused revealed their names as Sachin, resident of Jain Nagar, Arnab, resident of Sujal, Hirangaon and Rajkumar, resident of Newramgarh. Police recovered jewellery worth seven lakh rupees and cash of 15 thousand rupees from them.
Accused Arnab told the police that he had stolen all the jewellery from his uncle's house on the behest of Sachin Bhaiya, Shiva, Rohit, Pranjal for the greed of money and had given it to them. These people kept making me intoxicated and made me steal from houses. Other accused have told that we do not have any job. Arnab was a friend of Sujal who used to sit with us. One day he brought an ATM from his home, which belonged to his sister. He knew the PIN code and we kept withdrawing money from that ATM and spending it daily.
ASP said that more than six cases are registered against accused Sachin in the district. The accused run a gang by the name of Sukha Gang and have confessed to many thefts. Police have started further action against these accused.
