Nitin Gadkari chaired a high-level meeting at Raj Bhawan to review the progress of road and highway projects in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, June 17 (HS). Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari chaired a high-level meeting at Raj Bhavan to review the progress of road and highway projects in Jammu and Kashmir. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for major infrastructure projects in the Union Territory.

The Lt Governor said that we are working with dedication for a strong and glorious tomorrow of Jammu and Kashmir. The massive infrastructure boost has generated new employment opportunities and has also boosted the economy of the Union Territory.

The Lt Governor said that I am grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji and Union Minister Gadkari Ji and heartily congratulate the team for launching infrastructure projects of unprecedented magnitude in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that it was a pleasure to welcome Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari ji at the Raj Bhavan. He chaired a high-level meeting to review the progress of road and highway projects in Jammu and Kashmir.

Important projects including Z-Morh Tunnel, Ring Road Jammu, 4-laning of Udhampur Ramban Road, various sections of Khelani-Kishtwar-Chatroo Road, Chenani- Sudhmahadev section on NH-244 and various other projects under NHAI, NHIDCL and SAMACHAR were discussed.
