In the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections, voting is going on continuously for by-elections on all four Lok Sabha seats and six assembly seats of Himachal Pradesh. Himachal is leading in voting. 14.35 percent voting has been done till 9 am. The weather was clear in most parts of the state including the capital Shimla and people have started gathering at the polling centers since morning.

According to the Election Commission data, a total of 57.11 lakh voters are eligible to vote. Out of these, 28.48 lakh are male and 27.97 lakh are female voters. 62 candidates are trying their luck in the hill state. These include 37 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections and 25 candidates for the assembly by-elections. The main contest on all the seats is between BJP and Congress.
