Mumbai: Ranveer Singh's film 'Rakshas' has been announced to release on ABC. This is the fifth film of Ranveer's recent past which has climbed the charts after its release. Ranveer gets films but his projects do not move forward. Therefore, Ranveer is currently facing challenges in his career.
Ranveer and director Prashant Verma officially announced yesterday that they are leaving the film 'Rakshas'. Sanjay Leela Bhansali was going to make 'Baiju Bawra' with Ranveer. But, now Bhansali has put this film aside and started 'Love and War' with Ranbir, Alia and Vicky Kaushal.
There were talks of making a Hindi remake of the South hit film 'Aniyaan'. It was a psychological action thriller film in which Ranveer was to play the lead role. But as director Shankar got busy with his two Tamil films 'Indian 2' with Kamal Haasan and 'Game Changer' with Ramacharan, the film 'Aniyaan' was also shelved.
Now it has been announced that Ranveer will get the lead role in the film based on the serial 'Shaktimaan'. But the film has been surrounded by controversies because Mukesh Khanna objected to Ranveer getting this role. Similarly, Karan Johar had announced the film 'Takht' with Ranveer, but he left the project due to the fear of political controversy.
Ranveer's next film is 'Don 3' but its script is still being finalized.
