Jagdalpur, May 31 (HS). In Bastar division, people are troubled by humidity and heat since morning on the seventh day of Nautapa. Due to the heat, the roads in Bastar division are deserted during the day. Along with the humidity and heat of Nautapa, the problem of low voltage has started in Bastar division headquarters Jagdalpur, due to which power is going off repeatedly. The same is the condition of Dantewada and Bijapur districts. The scorching sun and heat have made life difficult for the people.
In Bastar division, Bijapur district was the hottest with a temperature of 42.9 degrees on the seventh day of Nautapa a day ago. Along with this, Dantewada and Kanker were also the second hottest districts with 42.8 degrees. The temperature in Narayanpur reached 41.7 and Bastar district reached 40.7 degrees. Overall, the heat has made people miserable even at night in Bastar division. Similarly, Bhopalpattanam block of Bijapur district and Konta area of Sukma are the hottest areas of those districts. Every year, these two areas of South Bastar remain the hottest in summer.
