Modi did 200 rallies and road shows in 70 days and gave 80 interviews

New Delhi: The last phase of the Lok Sabha elections is about to be completed, voting is to be held on June 1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a total of 200 rallies and road shows for the BJP in this election. He campaigned continuously for about 70 days. While Congress leader Rahul Gandhi conducted 107 rallies and road shows during this period.

When the Election Commission announced the dates for the Lok Sabha elections in March, Modi visited South India from 15 to 17 March. BJP is trying to strengthen its position in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP did not get a single seat in these three states. The impact of Modi's campaign in this election will be clear after the election results are out. Modi held more rallies in UP, Bihar, Maharashtra, Bengal.

However, if we look at the figures, 73-year-old Narendra Modi has done about 200 rallies and road shows in the last 70 days, while during this time Modi also gave about 80 media interviews, which include both TV and newspapers. That is, from the beginning of the elections till today, Modi has given an average of one interview every day. Rahul Gandhi did about 107 rallies, Akhilesh Yadav did 69 rallies. Mamta Banerjee did 61 rallies-road shows and padayatras. Congress's Priyanka Gandhi has done more than 140 rallies-road shows and has also given more than 100 media interviews.
