CCTV video of fire in Rajkot surfaced, see how a spark turned into a huge disaster

Rajkot: Gujarat Two days after the massive fire in TRP Game Zone in Rajkot, CCTV camera footage has surfaced. In this video, it can be seen how the fire started spreading rapidly during welding. Let us tell you that 35 people, including 12 children, have died in this terrible accident.

In a 40-second video posted by news agency PTI, the fire can be seen spreading across the area, with highly inflammable material lying around. As the fire broke out, several people can be seen trying to move the inflammable material away from the fire. Waste such as fuel, tyres, fibreglass sheds and thermocol sheets were reportedly stored at the site, creating a highly inflammable environment.

Many accused arrested

According to the police, the gaming zone did not have the required fire safety clearance from the municipal corporation at the time of the incident. Rajkot Police Commissioner (CP) Raju Bhargav said that the gaming zone was in the process of obtaining the required fire NOC (no objection certificate) but was not completed. The police have arrested the gaming zone owner Yuvraj Singh Solanki and his manager Nitin Jain on several charges including murder with intent to kill. An FIR has also been filed against four other accused.

SIT will submit report in 3 days

After the incident, the state government formed a five-member SIT to investigate it. The team is headed by Additional Director General of Police Subhash Trivedi.
