A bird collided with the engine of a SpiceJet flight going from Delhi to Leh. Due to this, the Boeing 737-7 returned to the airport after half an hour. There were 135 people on board the flight. The report said that there was vibration in the engine of the plane, after which the plane was landed at Delhi airport.
Why did the return flight go to Leh?
A SpiceJet flight to Leh developed a snag on Sunday morning, after which the plane returned to the national capital Delhi. The source told PTI that flight SG123 took off at 10.30 am and returned safely at around 11 am. Sources said that the plane took off with about 135 people and returned due to vibrations in the engine. There has been no response from SpiceJet in this matter. According to information available on Flightradar24, the Boeing 737-7 aircraft returned to Delhi soon after takeoff.
