Ambati Rayudu: Former CSK player Ambati Rayudu has given a big statement after Royal Challengers Bangalore lost to Rajasthan Royals in the eliminator match.
Rayudu, who retired from IPL last year, said that the IPL trophy cannot be won only by passion and celebration. In the eliminator match of IPL 2024, on May 22, Rajasthan Royals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 4 wickets.
Rayudu said, 'If you talk about RCB today, it shows that passion and celebration alone cannot get you a trophy.' You have to make a plan. You don't get the IPL trophy just by reaching the playoffs. You have to play with that passion. Don't think that you will win the IPL trophy just by defeating CSK. You will have to come again next year.
Rayudu also said that the RCB franchise needs to show more trust in Indian players. I don't think any Indian batsman except Virat Kohli has scored more than 1000 runs in the last 16 years. Virat Kohli has more than 8000 runs in IPL. Rayudu said that he feels that RCB does not trust Indian talent.
Rayudu was upset with RCB's aggressive celebrations and ignoring CSK players during Dhoni's last match.
Irfan Pathan also continued Abanti Rayudu's talk and said that you will have to convince Swapnil Singh and Karn Sharma. You brought in Alzarri Joseph but his stats are very bad.
