The carriage of Lord Madmaheshwar reached Rakeshwari Temple Ransi for its first night stay.

Rudraprayag, 18 May (HS). The carriage of Lord Madmaheshwar, the second Kedar among the Panch Kedars, reached Rakeshwari Temple Ransi on Saturday for its first night stay from the winter resting place Omkareshwar Temple. The doli will reach Goundar village on Sunday. On May 20, the doli will reach its destination in the morning and on the same day the doors will be opened for the common devotees to have darshan.

The doors of Lord Madmaheshwar, the second Kedar among the Panch Kedars, will be opened for the common devotees on 20th May. After the opening of the doors of Madmaheshwar Dham, devotees from India and abroad can avail the benefit of darshan of Panch Kedar.

On Saturday, the doli of Lord Madmaheshwar was decorated from Omkareshwar Temple, the winter seat. After this the palanquin left for its destination. The doli reached Rakeshwari temple Ransi for its first night stay, from where today the doli will reach Goundaar village. On May 20, the doli will leave for its destination from Goundar village. After Doli reaches Dham, the doors of Second Kedar Bhagwan Madmaheshwar Dham will also be opened on the same day. A large number of devotees are accompanying the procession on foot. Doli is being given a grand welcome at various travel stops. Lord Madmaheshwar is worshiped as the god of justice. The central part of Lord Shiva is worshiped in Madmaheshwar Dham. Vedpathi Vishwamohan Jamloki of Badri-Kedar Temple Committee said that the doors of Lord Madmaheshwar are being opened for the common devotees on 20th May. Today the doli will stay overnight at Ransi and tomorrow at Goundar village.
