Vibhav Kumar, arrested in the Swati Maliwal attack case, has filed an anticipatory bail petition in Tis Hazari Court. The case has been listed before Additional Sessions Judge Sushil Anuj Tyagi and will be heard today. Vibhav Kumar, accused in the case of assault on Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal at CM House, was arrested by Delhi Police on Saturday. Vibhav was detained from Arvind Kejriwal's CM House and from there the police took him to Civil Lines police station. Delhi Police got input that Vibhav is not outside Delhi but is present at the Chief Minister's residence only.

Vibhav was detained from CM residence

As soon as the police reached the Civil Lines police station with Vibhav, AAP's legal cell head Sanjeev Nasiyar tried to enter there forcefully. After this the Delhi Police sidelined him. According to sources, the police also tracked the IP address of the mail sent by Bibhav Kumar to Delhi Police regarding his complaint. Many teams were continuously searching for Vibhav and finally Vibhav was detained from the CM residence.

Swati Maliwal accused of assault incident

Let us tell you that on May 13, the incident of assault with Swati Maliwal came to light and she had made serious allegations against Vibhav Kumar, close to Arvind Kejriwal. After this, Swati lodged an FIR and recorded her statement in the court on Friday. He made serious allegations against Vibhav. After registering the case, Delhi Police was continuously investigating Vibhav's location for his arrest.

In the case of assault on Swati Maliwal, Delhi Police reached CM House on Friday and recreated the scene. At 4:40 pm on Friday evening, a team of FSL along with the team of Delhi Police reached the Chief Minister's residence for investigation, after about half an hour at 5:15 pm the FSL team again reached the Chief Minister's residence with its heavy equipment and meanwhile the police A team of was also present there. After about 8 minutes i.e. at 6:23 pm, a team of Delhi Police reached the Chief Minister's residence with Swati Maliwal. After about half an hour at 7:05 pm, Swati Maliwal came out of the Chief Minister's residence. Finally the team of Delhi Police and FSL left the CM residence at 12.15 pm. According to sources, the police has taken data from some CCTV cameras installed in the pen drive.
