Sagar, May 16 (Hindustan Reporter) A departmental review meeting of Niwari district was organized in Orchha on Thursday under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Dr. Virendra Singh Rawat. On this occasion, Collector Arun Kumar Vishwakarma, District Panchayat CEO Rohan Saxena, Additional Collector HB Sharma, SDM Prithvipur Anurag Nigwal, SDM Niwari Satish Sharma, Deputy Collector Rajendra Mishra and related officers were present.
In the meeting, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Rawat, during the review of the Education Department, gave instructions to improve the examination results in all the schools of the district. He also gave instructions to take strict action against adulterated food items in the district and said that negligence in this regard will not be tolerated. He directed that the work related to providing scholarship to eligible students should be completed and no eligible student should be deprived of getting scholarship. He directed that all the officers should review the departmental schemes and provide benefits to the eligible beneficiaries.
The Divisional Commissioner directed that all departments should get the complaints pending on the CM Helpline portal expeditiously resolved as per the rules and the cases pending in the Honorable High Court should be resolved expeditiously by submitting claims. He directed that all officers should immediately take necessary action and submit replies on the pending letters received from various commissions. He also directed that all the complaints of senior office and commissioner office should be resolved within the time limit. He reviewed the RCMS portal and gave instructions to resolve all the cases within the time limit.
Sagar Divisional Commissioner Dr. Rawat directed all the concerned officers to complete all the preparations related to counting of votes for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on time. He took detailed information about all the arrangements being made for the counting of votes and directed that it should be ensured that the counting of votes is done with full caution and in a systematic manner as per the instructions of the Commission. During the review of Jal Jeevan Mission, he gave instructions to ensure adequate supply of drinking water in all gram panchayats and handover of the completed works with consent.
He directed to ensure that everyone in the district has access to clean drinking water. During the review of health facilities in the district, he gave instructions to make comprehensive preparations for the prevention of rain-borne diseases in the coming rainy season and organize health camps in the villages. He took information about flood relief preparations and identification of damaged buildings and gave necessary instructions. He directed that Ravi should ensure timely payment to the farmers after procurement.
Central Jail inspected by Chief District Judge
Principal District and Sessions Judge/MK Sharma inspected Central Jail, Sagar on Thursday. During this, he obtained information about the living conditions, food habits, cleanliness, health, legal aid etc. of the prisoners detained in various barracks of the Central Jail. He also inspected the women's barrack and took stock of the facilities being provided to the detained women prisoners. He also inspected the kitchen, video conferencing room, dispensary etc. established in the jail.
