Jaipur, 16 May (HS). On Janaki Navami, a unique and grand mass all-caste marriage ceremony was organized under the aegis of Seva Bharti Samiti Rajasthan in Jaipur city. In the ceremony, the bride and groom of different castes tied the knot under the same pavilion. The marriage of 45 couples was solemnized as per Indian culture. In this marriage ceremony, couples from a total of 15 castes, including seven inter-caste ones, got married. In this, a groom married a widow, which was also an example for the society.
A scene of social harmony, simplicity and dedication was seen through the all-caste mass marriage ceremony. While due to modernity people spend lakhs of rupees, this marriage provided an example of simplicity.

The procession of grooms on 45 horses started from Aggarwal Caters, Vidyadhar Nagar and reached the wedding venue. The grooms were welcomed at the gate with flower showers by women workers. After this, everyone together performed the tradition of breaking the Toran. During this time, a large number of people from the bride's side along with other distinguished citizens of the society were also present. After the Toran, all the bride and groom reached the stage where the garland ceremony of the bride and groom was performed.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's regional campaigner Nimbaram, who reached the Ram Janaki wedding ceremony, bowed to the saints present on the stage and gave good wishes to the newly married couples. He said, taking inspiration from the life of Lord Ram, take a pledge to establish an ideal Hindu family by following the traditions and values of the ancestors and move forward. During this, he praised the work of Seva Bharti and said that Seva Bharti is not a separate organization. It is an organization of all the society which runs projects like education, health, culture and employment, self-reliance in deprived areas. He said that today's program is going to convey a message to everyone on many subjects. We have to take care of environment, social harmony and discipline under civil etiquette.

On every altar, two priests performed the marriage ceremony with chanting of mantras along with rituals. Blessings were given after the rounds. Gifts include bed, mattress, pillows, wardrobe, sewing machine, cooler, press, utensils, mixer, bedsheet, bracelets, anklets, mangalsutra, nose ring, toe ring, wedding accessories, sarees for the bride, paint-shirt for the groom. Other items were given.
Marriages conducted by Seva Bharti in last 13 years
This marriage ceremony started from Bhavani Mandi. Including today's conference of Seva Bharti, marriages of 2420 couples have been solemnized at 33 places in 22 districts. This time it was the thirteenth Shri Ram Janaki marriage conference of Seva Bharati. In the next few days, the Pandit will select a time for these couples and, like every year, they will undergo the Pag Phere ritual where they will be sent off with gifts.
Many messages for the society through this marriage
By organizing this mass marriage, many types of messages were given to the people in the society. Marriages of people belonging to the deprived and poor sections of the society were organized. Social change was also initiated through inter-caste marriage. People of all communities, all castes ate together. There was no touching or discrimination anywhere. A new revolution has started through inter-caste mass marriage. In this entire program, women workers presented an example of the strong power of mother power by cooperating with all their heart, mind and money. At the same time, by supporting the function, a sense of dedication was aroused among the rich people and they also gave the message of simplicity.
Publicity Minister Ritu Chaturvedi said that many dignitaries of the society and Sangh pracharaks attended the marriage ceremony and blessed the bride and groom for a happy life.
