It is sad for Congress to raise questions on the action being taken against Naxalites – Vishnu Dev Sai

Raipur, 16 May (HS). Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has said it is sad when Congress raised questions about the action being taken against Naxalites. Shri Sai said that Congress should look at all these issues above politics.

Answering the questions of journalists at the Police Ground Helipad, the Chief Minister said that last time 29 Naxalites were killed. Then Congress and opposition people were calling this incident fake, while the Naxalites themselves released a list of 29 people. This is a very sad thing. Now what can we say about these people, these are the people who raise questions on surgical strikes and air strikes. I urge them to look at all these issues above politics.

Refuting Congress's claim that the encounter was fake, CM Sai said that our soldiers are continuously getting success. On rehabilitation policy, he said that because of our rehabilitation policy, Naxalites are also surrendering. We are seeing that this policy can be improved further and a new rehabilitation policy is also being considered.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has praised the Vishnu government for its success on the Naxal front. On which Congress is raising questions. On the other hand, the Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to Home Minister Shah and said that he is grateful to the Home Minister that he has expressed confidence in our government. All this has been possible because of the double engine government that in just 3-4 months, 112 Naxalites have been killed, about 450 Naxalites have surrendered and 153 Naxalites have been arrested. This is a big success for our security forces. Shri Sai said that the Prime Minister and the Home Minister are very serious on this issue and want to end Naxalism from Chhattisgarh soon.
