Cabinet Minister said – No devotee should return from Chardham without darshan, everyone should cooperate in the arrangements.

Dehradun, 16 May (HS). Cabinet and Uttarkashi district in-charge minister Dr. Premchand Aggarwal on Thursday talked to the local administration regarding Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham. The Minister has told the administration that special care should be taken to ensure that the Yatra remains organized and no devotee returns without having darshan. Chief Minister's Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram is also camped there.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Cabinet Minister Dr. Premchand said that under his charge, information was received about devotees returning without visiting the holy places Gangotri and Yamunotri in Uttarkashi district. Taking cognizance of this, the minister has talked to the local administration. He has said that Chardham Yatra is at its peak. In such a situation, no devotee should be allowed to return without having darshan. Everyone should cooperate in the arrangements. For this, the minister has also requested the devotees coming on the yatra. According to the administration, the yatra is going smoothly. In this sequence, the route has been made one-way. There should be no chaos in Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham. For this, arrangements for Bhandara etc. are being made available to the devotees traveling in vehicles.
