Jhansi, 15 May (Hindus). A massive fire broke out in Kohli Store Mini Mall cosmetic and clothing shop located at Ras Bahar intersection in Sipri Bazar police station area on Wednesday afternoon. In this incident, apart from dozens of clothing and cosmetic shops, dozens of two-wheelers were burnt to ashes. Goods worth crores of rupees were burnt to ashes in the fire.
The fire was so severe that seeing the flames, people left their shops and houses open and ran away. Fire brigade and army personnel took charge. The fire was brought under control after about 8 hours of hard work. During this period, more than three dozen fire tenders were busy extinguishing the fire. On information, MLC Ramtirath Singhal, well wisher of the traders along with police administrative officers reached the spot and consoled the affected traders and assured them of help from the government.
It is noteworthy that Sipri Bazaar is a market of textile and cosmetic goods located near Hari Mazar located at Ras Bahar intersection of police station area. Here Pappu Kohli and Ayush Kohli's mini mall of cosmetic goods is built on four floors. Their third floor caught fire due to a sudden short circuit on Wednesday afternoon. The fire was so terrible that it did not give anyone a chance to understand anything and the fire spread uncontrollably throughout the shop. Somehow, the customers, owner and staff present in the shop ran away to save their lives.
By the time the fire brigade was informed, the fire started spreading and engulfed the clothing showroom of Paramjit Singh Bhusari, Jeet Bhusari, Satnam Bhusari located next to it. The massive fire caused devastation. By the time the fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. By then the fire had spread rapidly and engulfed more than a dozen stalls of cosmetic vendors standing nearby. Seeing the fire increasing, police administrative officers reached the spot and took the help of the army. After about eight hours of hard work, the fire was brought under control, but by then everything had turned into a heap of ashes. On receiving the information, business leader MLC Ramtirath Singhal and former councilor Adarsh Gupta reached the spot and consoled the affected businessmen.
